I was very excited to get this book. The couples of our church watched the DVD series by the same title and it was excellent so having the book in my hands is an extra treat. This gift book, in particular, is a great little overview with some of the highlights and nuggets of wisdom from the full book and DVD series. It would make a great gift for a newlywed couple, or for an anniversary.
Sprinkled liberally with scripture, every married couple should read at least this little book, but preferably the full book. It takes the heart of scripture regarding the roles of men and women in marriage and puts “feet” to it; What does this look like when we are in the thick of married life?
I plan to keep the book in my family room on the coffee table to encourage visitors to peruse the pages... or I may send it off to a newly married couple I know. If I do I’ll be purchasing another copy for my home. I’d highly recommend it!
