I received this devotional bible as part of the Booksneeze program. It's called The Dad's Bible, The Father's Plan with notes by Robert Wolgemuth and is published by Thomas Nelson.
The translation is the NCV or New Century version which is not a version I've had in a bible before. Being a King James fan (I love the language of the King James) this translation is a bit "casual" for me, but it does read very nicely. The commentaries are geared specifically toward fathers and are very well written.
I like the "worn" look of the hardcover and the touches on the individual pages. It's got a very manly look to it. The type is a bit small for my aging eyes but not unreadable.
Over all it's a great bible that would make a lovely gift for a dad or grandpa in your life!
